Mr Jones had a helicopter, and needed a place to store it. So he had us build a 50ft x 20ft traditional garage hangar with 12ft high walls. On the front of the garage, it had large sliding doors which were on a track, so they were easy to open and close. This meant he was able to store his helicopter safely and securely.

Our traditional garages are constructed with 50 x 100mm (2” x 4”) tanalised PAR timbers with a 32 x 200mm (1 1/4” x 8”) sawn tanalised rustic board.
The traditional timber garages benefit from a 35 degree pitch roof which allows you to felt, felt tile or even slate / clay tile your roof.
As with our standard garage our traditional garage has a 7’ 2” internal walls giving a spacious interior.
Key Traditional Timber Garage features include:
Quality timber
We use quality 4th redwood timber, which is a higher grade than most other manufacturers. It has minimal imperfections compared with its white wood counterpart, and all our wood comes from well managed, sustainable forests.
High specification & strength
Our buildings are of the highest specification around. The uprights are spaced close together for added strength no more than 600mm (2’) on the walls. The building boasts an extremely sturdy roof thanks to the use of substantial timbers and our unique roof design. All our buildings are constructed entirely from PAR timbers (planed all round) eliminating the use of sawn. All windows are beaded and then sealed with silicon for additional weather protection.
Fully customisable
The doors and windows can be positioned anywhere in our buildings at no extra cost, to suit your garden.
Higher eaves and taller doors
The garage ranges have increased height inside, providing additional storage space, and a bigger feel. They also come with a generous 1880mm (6’2”) high door opening, to give extra headroom.
Heavy duty felt
The building is supplied with heavier weight 38kg green mineral felt as standard, which can provide weather protection for in excess of 5 years.
Gutter-ready roof design
The side of the roof is finished with a flat fascia and drip rail for the easy attachment of guttering.
